Weston College support businesses through Covid-19 training
Covid-19 has impacted businesses throughout the UK, and as the retail and hospitality sectors prepare to open their doors to the public again, big changes are needed to be implemented.
Leading education and training provider Weston College has been quick to respond to the pandemic by developing recovery bespoke training packages, that prepare businesses to operate in the new landscape.
An early adopter of the recovery training package is world renowned, Celtic Manor Resort. The bespoke Covid-19 package covered areas such as:
- What is Covid-19?
- Coronavirus and the immune system
- How to reduce the risk of catching and passing on coronavirus
- How to safely wash your hands and sanitise
Ella Wenmoth, Health and Safety Manager at the Celtic Manor Resort, said: “It was excellent to see when faced with adversity, Weston College was able to provide a new bespoke e-learning module to inform over 1,000 of our staff members, of the importance of infection control and prevention upon returning to work.
“The e-learning is vibrant, clear and informative; the Celtic Collection cannot thank the team enough for what they managed to achieve within such a short timescale.”
Dr Paul Phillips CBE, Principal and Chief Executive of the Weston College Group, added: “After such a difficult period, it is important that we play our part in supporting employers with bespoke training for their staff, to successfully operate within the new rules, keeping employees and customers safe.
“As a College we are fully committed to supporting employers and helping to rebuild the economy. We can offer bespoke training to existing employees, help find fresh talent and bring that extra pair of hands into the company via industry placements or apprenticeships. Please do get in touch with us – we are ready to listen to your needs and help.”
