Kickstart Scheme Webinar

20 April 2021 16:00 – 17:00

On Thursday 6th May, we are hosting a virtual seminar on the new Kickstart Scheme, from 4:00pm – 5:00pm.

The seminar will explore the new Kickstart Scheme, and explain how we can help you apply for the Kickstart Scheme, as well as offering training and support to your participants, at no cost to your business.

This webinar aims to:

  • Provide guidance on the Kickstart Scheme and funding that is available to employers
  • Explain how employers can get involved
  • Explore job placement criteria
  • Outline next steps
  • Enlighten you on opportunities available to you and your participant beyond Kickstart.

Kickstart is a brand new 6-month placement for people aged 16-24, who are currently registered for, or receiving Universal Credit and are at risk of long-term unemployment.

There is funding available for 100% of the age-relevant National Minimum Wage for 25 hours a week. As well as wage funding, the Kickstart Scheme will also make National Insurance and employer minimum automatic pension contributions.

There is also an incentive of £1,500 per job placement for employers, which covers setup costs, support, equipment and training.

This is a great opportunity for you to discover new talent, and train up young people to develop skills that can be used to support your business.
