Guest Motor Group Training Academy
We are proud to be collaborating with Guest Motor Group to support their new training academy, designed to help managers and those aspiring to leadership roles. Guest Motor Group, which represents Iveco and Fiat Professional commercial vehicles, will offer training through its academy at 14 locations across England.
The academy is led by Dean Rippon, Guest’s Head of Training and Process Improvement, and we have been working closely with Guest Motor Group to tailor a curriculum that meets the needs of their business and employees.
Robert Spittle, Managing Director of Guest Motor Group, commented on the collaboration, saying: “The Guest Motor Group Academy is a key part of our ongoing development programme, making career advancement opportunities even more accessible for our colleagues. Weston College’s specialist knowledge and experience in our sector made them the natural choice for providing these programmes.
“While we have had an apprenticeship programme for many years, there was a need to formalise career development training for our managers. Weston College has helped us achieve that, creating a structure for growth and leadership development within our company.”
The training academy is focused on not just enhancing skills in selling and servicing commercial vehicles, but also in embracing future technologies and alternative fuels - an exciting area of growth for the sector.
