Housing/Property Management Services, Advanced Apprenticeship
What will I do on this course?
Property managers are customer-facing and primarily responsible for creating and sustaining successful tenancies in the private and social rented housing sectors. The work is varied and often includes addressing complex people-related matters as well as property-related responsibilities.
The role incorporates a degree of lone working with minimum supervision whilst predominantly working within the wider organisation, communities and external partners. The apprenticeship will prepare you for a range of general housing or property management duties leading to operational or specialist roles.
How will I be assessed?
Your assessed project will consist of a practical activity with direct relevance to a housing or property management role. It could, for example, outline the practical application of a policy or impact of legislation in the operation of a housing management function.
This is completed within the final six months of the apprenticeship. An interview, based on the project, will then be convened by the assessment panel.
What could I do after this course?
You could progress to the Senior Housing Management Apprenticeship standard at Level 4, or the degree in Business with Management at University Centre Weston.
You will need five GCSEs at grade 9-4 including English and maths, or a Level 2 housing qualification or apprenticeship. You will also need to be in relevant employment, but we can help you find this.
