What will I do on this course?
HR professionals in this role, typically, work in medium-to-large organisations as part of the HR function delivering front-line support to managers and employees.
Their work is likely to include handling day-to-day queries and providing HR advice; working on a range of HR processes, ranging from transactional to relatively complex, from recruitment through to retirement; using HR systems to keep records; providing relevant HR information to the business; working with the business on HR changes.
They will typically take ownership for providing advice to managers on a wide range of HR issues, using company policy and current law, giving compliance guidance to avoid errors that could expose the organisation to employment tribunals or legal risk.
As part of this apprenticeship you can also gain a CiPd Level 3 Foundation Certificate in HR - it will also include a CiPd membership fee of £178 which is payable by either the student or the employer.
How will I be assessed?
The end-point assessment will consist of two main components - a consultative project of approximately 3,000 words, and a professional discussion that will explore specific skills and behaviours.
What could I do after this course?
Your the next step could be the HR Consultant/Manager Apprenticeship at Level 5. You could also apply for the degree in Business with Management at University Centre Weston.
You’ll need five GCSEs at grade 9-4, or a Level 2 qualification. You’ll also need to be in relevant employment but we can help you find this.
