What will I do on this course?
This training programme will give you on-the-job training and workplace experience in a leadership and management setting.
You will cover topics including operational management, project management, finance and budgeting, building relationships and decision making.
You will learn the skills required to lead a team of people and achieve a successful outcome, and manage projects effectively to understand outcomes and risk factors. You will also develop your interpersonal skills and professionalism in the workplace.
How will I be assessed?
When you have completed the programme, you will undergo an end-point assessment consisting of knowledge test, professional discussion, interview, assessment of portfolio and a presentation.
What could I do after this course?
You can progress to a range of qualifications, including the ILM Level 6 Award in Management, Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship, a management related degree course, or ILM Level 7 qualifications in leadership and management.
You should hold a Level 3 business or management qualification to start this programme, or have substantial workplace experience in a lower management setting. You will need to be in relevant employment, but we can support you to find this.
