What will I do on this course?
This course is the perfect introduction to plumbing and could lead to a number of introductory roles within the plumbing industry. You’ll learn about plumbing, refrigeration and air conditioning, responsibilities and procedures, safe working practices, environmental measures, and scientific principles.
You will also have tutorial support, employability sessions, personal and social development, and study skills. You’ll also develop the English and maths skills required in the industry.
You will be assessed through practical observations, written assignments and a portfolio.
What could I do after this course?
You could enter the plumbing industry in a junior role, or increase your skills to earn higher wages with a Level 2 qualification in plumbing or an apprenticeship.
