What will I do on this course?
This Level 3 plumbing course will increase your plumbing skills to an advanced level, and could lead to the higher-paying plumbing roles or university-level study. You will learn about: plumbing system installation and planning; complex cold water systems; domestic hot water systems; sanitation and drainage systems; domestic gas principles; and scientific principles.
You'll take part in five days of work experience and also gain CSCS training, tutorial support and learn about studying techniques. You’ll also develop the English and maths skills required in the industry.
You will be assessed through multiple choice online tests, practical skills assessment, and a portfolio.
What could I do after this course?
You could enter into a career in plumbing and heating or set up your own business. Or you could increase your skills by progressing to a HNC or Foundation Degree at University Centre Weston.
A City & Guilds 6035 Diploma at Level 2 (or equivalent).
