This course will develop your knowledge and skills for a career working with children and young people.
Every member of the Early Years Team at Weston College is a subject specialist and has managed an early years setting. We have excellent links with our employers, who help support and give feedback on our delivery to work in partnership with us to deliver best practice.
You will complete work experience as part of the course. You will be required to undergo eight hours on a work placement per week, term-time only. We will help you get your placement.
This is a great stepping stone to a higher level. This course is designed for people with little or no experience of working with children, and will give you the skills you need to progress to the next level course.

This course is assessed through a portfolio of evidence and observation of your practical skills in the setting. Successful completion of this course will enable you to progress to our Level 3 Diploma.
