What will I do on this course?
This Level 1 course is the ideal introduction to electrical installation and will allow you to develop a solid foundation for your future career. You will learn about electrical installation, responsibilities and procedures, safe working practices, environmental protection measures and scientific principles.
You'll learn practical skills in our workshops, which will be supplemented with tutorial support, employability sessions, personal development, and study skills. You'll be taught by our expert lecturers, who all have experience working in the electrical industry. We will also work with you to develop your English and maths skills to the level you'll need to become an electrician.
How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed through practical observations, written assignments and an online portfolio.
What could I do after this course?
You could progress to Weston College’s Level 2 Electrical Installation course or into an apprenticeship.
