What will I do on this course?
The Level 2 Electrical Installation course is perfect if you want to enter into a career as an electrician. You can use this course as an introduction to electrical installation if you meet the entry criteria, or as a follow-up to the Level 1 course.
You’ll learn to work safely and effectively in an electrical installation environment, and also study the principles of electrical installation, health and safety, and electrical installation (buildings and structures). The course includes an EAL Intermediate Diploma, tutorial support, employability development, work experience, personal and social development, and study skills.
How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed through practical skills tests, observations, assignments, projects, and online assessments.
What could I do after this course?
You can progress to a job in the electrical industry, or increase your skills and access the higher-paying jobs with a Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or an apprenticeship.
English, maths and science GCSE at grade 4 and above.
