What will I do on this course?
This Graphic Design Level 3 course puts a strong emphasis on linking you with employers in the sector. You'll complete projects linked to the industry and work with real clients, while studying in a safe and supportive environment. Here, sustained creative play is encouraged, to help you become an innovative and adaptable designer.
You’ll learn different ways to create corporate identities, packaging and advertising, and study a range of design-related disciplines, including information design typography, design history, motion graphics, digital illustration and photography.
We will also work with you to develop your English and maths skills to the level that most employers look for.
How will I be assessed?
You’ll be assessed through practical projects and written assignments.
What could I do after this course?
You could become an employed or self-employed graphic designer, or you could increase your skills with a degree-level course such as University Centre Weston’s Foundation Degree in Graphic Design.
Five GCSEs at grade 4/C and above or the equivalent, a successful interview, and a portfolio.
