Cutting Women's Hair, Certificate

On this course you’ll learn the skills you’ll need to get a job as a women's hairdresser.

This course is part of Weston College’s well-established hair and beauty provision, and will help to improve your hairdressing skills.

Hairdressing skills are in demand. There are plenty of hairdressing jobs available for qualified hairdressers. Cutting hair is also a useful skill to have – you’ll be able to work in salons or as a self-employed hairdresser.

Qualified hairdressers earn more money, and the higher the level of experience and qualifications you have, the more likely you are to earn the largest amounts. If you’re really successful you could open your own salon or franchise, where the possibilities are limitless.

This course will teach you about:

  • Cutting women’s hair
  • Health and safety in practice.
