What will I do on this A Level?
You will look at decisions made by organisations and the government, and the impact they have on the economy. You will cover the following topics that affect the economy: exchange rates, unemployment, inflation, national debt, growth, worldwide markets, and energy pricing policies.
Studying economics will enable you to widen your knowledge through its investigative nature, providing excellent opportunities to excel in both written and verbal communication. Economics is a perfectly matched subject with business studies or for a career in a business environment.

What could I do after this A Level?
This is a great A Level to take if you’re looking to study economics at University. It also opens up many career opportunities including business, management, politics, finance, banking, management consultancy and economic journalism.
Five GCSEs at grade 4 and above including English, and grade 6 or above in maths.
