What will I do on this course?

This course covers a variety of topics around the sport and fitness industry. Year one covers anatomy and physiology, working in the sports industry and fitness training. Year two will include study of specialists units.

This subject will provide you with knowledge and understanding of this vocational area. It is an ideal qualification for those who want a broad background in sport science. The subject also develops skills such as analysis and problem solving, which can be used in any career.

How will I be assessed?

You will be assessed through coursework and some examined units.

What could I do after this course?

You could apply for a related degree-level course, such as University Centre Weston’s Sports Studies FdA.
