Media Production, UAL Diploma
What will I do on this course?
The Level 2 Media Production course will increase your existing skills. You’ll cover a range of topics, including making and editing your own films, pre-production work and research, script writing, advertising and print-based journalism.
This course is the ideal starting point if you want a career in video production, broadcasting, editing, and post-production work.
You’ll also have the opportunity to undertake an intensive one-year media foundation course to develop your personal and teamwork skills. As part of this course you will also develop your English and maths skills.
How will I be assessed?
You’ll be assessed through assignments, investigations and practical work.
What could I do after this course?
You could increase your skills by progressing to the Level 3 Media Production course at Weston College.
Four GCSEs at grade 3/D and above (including English or Maths) and a successful interview.
