Music Performance and Production, UAL Diploma
What will I do on this course?
The Level 3 Music Performance and Production course will increase your existing knowledge and skills. You’ll get in-depth tuition on a number of topics that you’ll need to be successful in the music industry.
You’ll learn how to make a career out of your skills, develop your song writing abilities, gain working knowledge and experience with audio software such as Logic and ProTools, and learn about sound engineering and sound craft.
You’ll get the opportunity to visit professional recording studios and live music venues, and will develop your analytical, creative and interpersonal skills. We will also develop your English and maths skills as part of this course.
How will I be assessed?
You’ll be assessed through assignments, investigations and practical work.
What could I do after this course?
This course could lead to a career in music performance and production. You could specialise your skills by progressing to Weston College’s Level 3 course in Music Performance or Media Production.
Five GCSEs at grade 9-4 and above, or an equivalent Level 2 qualification.
