Music Production, UAL Extended Diploma
What will I do on this course?
This Level 3 Music Production course provides you with the specialist knowledge you’ll need to work in a recording studio or any type of audio production environment. It’s a highly practical course that will develop your skills through practical and theoretical study.
You’ll learn about sequencing, sampling, recording studio techniques, mixing, production techniques, sound design, synthesis, and creating music and sound for film and television. You’ll also focus on working in the music industry, and how to turn your passion for music production into a career.
We’ll also develop your English and maths skills as part of the course.
How will I be assessed?
You’ll be assessed through practical and written assignments throughout the course.
What could I do after this course?
You will be equipped with the skills to work in a range of roles, including sound engineer, producer, mix engineer and Foley artist. You could enhance your skills by progressing to a foundation degree in music at University Centre Weston.
Five GCSEs at grade 9-4 and above, or an equivalent Level 2 qualification.
