What will I do on this study programme?
This Level 2 Music course will develop your skills and qualifications to a more advanced level. You will learn about the music industry, performing and recording, using professional music software, writing songs and live music production.
You’ll learn in more detail to expand your capabilities as a musician or music producer, as well as honing your analytical, creative, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
Our lecturers, who work in the industry, also provide opportunities for you to perform at College events and in the local area.
We’ll also develop your English and maths skills as part of this course.
How will I be assessed?
You’ll be assessed through assignments, investigations and practical work.
What could I do after this course?
This course could be your first steps towards a career in a music performance and production role. You could increase your skills and knowledge with Weston College’s Level 3 course in Music Performance and/or Production.
Four GCSEs at grade 3/D or above or a Level 1 qualification.
