Retailer Apprenticeship

What will I do on this course?

You’ll spend most of your week with your employer, learning retail skills as you work, and come to College occasionally depending on your apprenticeship.

You will undertake the new retail team leader apprenticeship standard and work towards developing your skills and knowledge in preparation for the end- point assessment, which could include skills such as; stock control, customer service, merchandising and sales skills.

How will I be assessed?

We will assess your practical skills and observe you at work. Your personal assessor will visit you at your workplace to review your progress and make sure you are on target to get your qualifications.

What could I do after this course?

The majority of our apprentices are kept on by their employer after they finish their course. This apprenticeship could see you progress to a Level 3 qualification.


Entry Requirements

There are no formal qualifications required to start this apprenticeship but you will be assessed to ensure you have the ability to complete the English and maths qualification to at least Level 1. You will need to be in relevant employment, but we can support you to find this.
