Activity Leadership, Intermediate Apprenticeship
What will I do on this course?
On this apprenticeship you will be working within schools with an independent sports coaching company. Here you will gain essential sports leadership skills and experience as well as relevant qualifications all taught by experienced sports coaches and professionals.
There are two separate paths within this apprenticeship that you can choose from: Sports Coaching, or Fitness Instructing (Cornwall only).
How will I be assessed?
We’ll assess your practical and written assignments, and will provide you with support to succeed.
What could I do after this course?
Graduating students can move onto the Level 3 Supporting Physical Education and School Sport Apprenticeship.
There are no other formal qualifications required to start this apprenticeship but you will be assessed to ensure you have the ability to complete the English and maths qualifications to at least Level 1. You must undertake a recognised enhanced disclosure and barring service check.
