Supply Chain Warehouse Operative, Intermediate Apprenticeships
What will I do on this course?
This apprenticeship is aimed at individuals who are interested in working within the logistics sector - in particular within a warehousing environment. The qualification covers the underpinning knowledge needed to store and receive goods appropriately, as well as exploring how to process and dispatch orders. You will often be required to be flexible and work shifts including fours-days-on-fours-days-off, days, nights, evenings and weekends. This apprenticeship was designed by employer representatives of the supply chain and logistics industry, and is suitable for apprentices employed in a wide variety of organisations.
How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed in the workplace every two months throughout your apprenticeship. On alternate months, your assessor will be in contact via email, telephone, and one-to-one webinars to support, mentor and discuss your progress. You will be independently assessed to the standard by a one-hour assessment and a practical assignment for the endpoint assessment.
What could I do after this course?
You could continue your development by progressing to the Level 3 qualification in Warehousing and Storage.
There are no formal qualifications required to start this apprenticeship but you will be assessed to ensure you are proficient in English and maths to at least Level 1. You will also need to be in relevant employment but we can help you find this.
