What will I do on this course?
You’ll explore the dynamic world of travel and tourism. This Level 2 Travel and Tourism course includes a range of units that will prepare you for a wide range of careers within the industry. These include the UK travel and tourism sector, UK travel destinations, customer service, international destinations, business and marketing of travel and tourism.
You’ll have the opportunity to get work-related experience in the travel and tourism, holiday representative and cruising sectors. The College has links with local and national employers, and you’ll get to visit them to understand how they work. We’ll also work with you to develop your English and maths skills.
How will I be assessed?
We’ll assess your practical activities, group work, presentations, coursework, online assessments and examinations.
What could I do after this course?
You could enter into a variety of roles in the travel and tourism industry, or increase your skills by progressing to a Level 3 course at Weston College.
You’ll need four GCSEs at grade 3/D or above, or an industry-relevant Level 1 qualification.
