Speaker Meera Phull:

Meera Phull is fully qualified BABCP and accredited CBT therapist with a background in mental health nursing and a passion for helping you understand, prevent and overcome mental health difficulties . Throughout her career, she has worked across a range of settings including The Priory, Bupa and the NHS. This has included inpatient care for mental health, a specialist eating disorder service, therapy services in both the private sector and NHS as well as workplace wellbeing, education and corporate settings. Her roles have involved both treatment of mental health difficulties and the promotion of mental wellbeing through consultancy, education, presentations and workshops.

Meera will deliver a session on helping to manage stress through mindfulness.

When we're stressed, our instinct is usually to do more. But when we do this, we can end up feeding a vicious cycle that keeps our stress building. Slowing down is often the most helpful thing we can do but we resist it because it feels counterintuitive. Join us for a mindfulness workshop to learn how tuning into the present moment can help us build up resilience and manage stress.
