Hello Yellow for World Mental Health Day!

10 October 2022 07:00 – 17:00

Monday October 10th is World Mental Health Day and, as in previous years, we will be showing our commitment to the emotional and mental well-being of young people by supporting and promoting Young Minds, the mental health charity, and their 'Hello Yellow' day.

We want to see as many staff and learners as possible, wearing yellow on Monday, so spread the word, and encourage everyone to take part!

Our fantastic Foundation Learning students will be in Knightstone reception/foyer for most of the day with information and activities and will be selling some yellow badges they have worked hard to create (useful if you don't have anything yellow to wear!) so please support their efforts and encourage your learners to do so as well. All proceeds will go to Young Minds to help them continue with their fantastic work with young people!

Also taking place on Monday is an amazing event, in collaboration with North Somerset Council, will be taking place at the Winter Gardens ballroom all day . This event will also focus on mental well-being with regards to healthy workplaces, menopause, men's mental health, the benefits of sport and nutrition on mental wellness and many other topics. There is a superb line up of experts, guest speakers, (including Sir Paul Phillips MBE) and table discussions, as well as stalls, information and lots of networking opportunities. The event will run into the evening, where it will conclude with a live band performance! This will be a spectacular event and we can't wait to see you there!
