For this academic year, results can be accessed on: 

10th August (Level 3 results day): A-Levels/AS-Levels, BTEC Nationals and Cambridge Technical

12th August (Level 1/2 result day): GCSEs, Technical Awards and First Diplomas

All results will be available from 9am on the morning of results day (as listed above) via your eILP. A copy of your printed results will also be sent out to your address within a week of results day. Please check your access to eILP prior to results day

Accessing results

Guidance on accessing your results on eILP is shown below:

  • Log into your eILP using your Username (WS number) and password (like you use to log onto PCs in college)
  • Click on the My ILP”
  • Click on the ‘Exams’ tab on the left of your screen:
  • Your grade will show against the description name of the course you have completed. Change the ‘Academic Year’ drop down to 2020/21

If you are unhappy with your grade, please email attaching the fully completed JCQ Appeal Review Form. Without this forming being completed, appealswill not be considered for review

Appeal review forms must be submitted by:

Priority appeals for those progressing to University in September 2021 (Level 3 Qualifications or GCSE Maths and English entrance requirement) : Friday 13th August (internal deadline) 

Priority appeal outcomes will be received back by 20th August


All other appeals3rd September

A centre appeal will be carried out in the first instance. An Awarding Organisation review can only be requested after a centre review has been requested and outcomes reported. The turnaround for all stages of appeals are tight, so it is therefore your responsible to ensure these deadlines are met through the correct processes outlined

If you are unsatisfied with your centre review outcome, the deadlines for Board Organisation review are:

Priority: 22nd August

All other: 16th September

Please note: all appeals being requested and review may result in a grade being raised, lowered or kept the same

Appeal Example:


Learner receives grade and is unhappy with result. Learner requests priority centre review to be carried out, submitted completed JCQ Appeal review form Results day – 13th August
Centre reviews appeal and rejects or accepts appeal. Outcome is returned to learner 13th – 20th August 
Learner is unsatisfied with appeal outcome and requests priority Awarding Organisation Appeal, using completed Stage 2 JCQ Appeal form to 20th – 22nd August
Centre submits appeal to Awarding Organisation for review 22nd August 
Awarding Organisation review appeal and return outcome to Centre 42 calendar days from appeal submission
