Weston at Home
Weston at Home is a new way of learning, these part-time adult courses are delivered as scheduled lessons from the comfort of your home, office or anywhere you have an internet connection!
As with any course, you’ll be assigned a personal tutor, who you can contact online or meet face-to-face when it’s convenient to you. You’ll also receive your scheduled lessons, course materials and assignments through our easy-to-use virtual platform.
Some of our courses are FREE* if you meet the eligibility criteria (details in the below Q&A section) and it couldn’t be easier to apply and get started.

Please note: These courses are mainly delivered online, however some do require limited attendance to a College campus, these will be noted in the course details, so be sure to read them in depth to ensure you are able to commit to these dates.

Unfortunately you can only enrol on one course at a time. You can do a second or third 3-4 weeks after completion of the first course.
Yes if you:
- Are aged 19 years or over as at 31/08/19.
- Have lived in the EU for the last three years.
- Reside in England, in a postcode outside of Greater Manchester, Liverpool City, Cambridge & Peterborough, Tees Valley and the West Midlands.
- Have a full Level 2 qualification or above in any subject (i.e QCF Diploma Level 2, five GCSEs/O Levels grade A-C, two or three AS Levels, CSE grade 1 5 or more, one A Level, QCF Certificate, GNVQ Intermediate, First Diploma, NVQ Level 2, First Certificate or Principle of Learning Level 2).

Are unemployed and claiming benefits, and using the qualification to obtain work.
An administration fee of £100 will be incurred if you withdraw from the course.
From August 2019, funding decisions for education will become devolved to local government in several counties of England. This transfer of funding from central government to combined authorities has created fundamental changes to areas that we as an education and training provider can operate in.
Therefore we regret that we are no longer able to provide Level 2 courses for free, to the following combined authority areas: Greater Manchester, Liverpool City, Cambridge & Peterborough, Tees Valley and West Midlands.

Upon receipt of your completed application form, we will contact you to conduct a telephone introduction and initial assessment that will enable us to get you started on the right course for you and provide answers to any questions you may have.
You will then be assigned to a tutor and login details will be provided, you will then be ready to receive your work materials, online and paper-based.
