Re-Engage

A starting point to prepare learners to start college if they have been out of education for some time, NEET or have barriers to learning. The programme is flexible and learners can build their own timetable when they feel ready and can display ready to learn behaviours. Provides opportunities to have fun, work in small groups, develop communication skills, develop confidence when sharing ideas with others, raise self-esteem and prepare for a full time college course.

The sessions may cover:

  • Group discussions
  • Team building activities
  • Cooking
  • Gym sessions
  • Infill in to level 1 vocational courses
  • Community and enterprise projects
  • Small group or 1:1 maths & English sessions.

Entry Requirements

No formal entry requirements are needed within Foundation learning. All learner’s are considered on an individual basis and matched to a course that is best placed to meet their needs and support their outcomes and move them towards their aspirations.

Financial Information

Most people qualify for FREE tuition and material fees due to discounts we offer. If you are between 19 and 23, your tuition and exam fees could be free. All adult learners who are UK residents can take out up to four Advanced Learner Loans. Student Finance England will ‘write off’ any outstanding Advanced Learning Loan balances you owe for an eligible Access to HE course once you complete a higher education course. Find out more
