Counselling, Certificate
This course is aimed at those who have a range of life experiences and wish to channel them into supporting others. You will benefit from being taught by our highly trained staff, who have years of experience within the sector. They’ll encourage you to develop self-awareness skills to enable you to support others through a variety of counselling approaches.
The course will cover:
- Counselling skills
- Active Listening
- Legislation
- Diversity and Ethics
- Key Theories
- Practical Application of skills
How Will I Be Assessed?
You will be assessed through weekly journals, written assignments and workbooks, and practical assessments.
Progression Opportunities
You may be able to progress onto the NCFE Cache Level 3 Counselling Skills Diploma, or if you have completed the Level 2 in Counselling and have a level 3 qualification in either counselling or related discipline you may be able to apply for the Counselling Degree BSC Hons through UCW Level 6.
