A Level Business puts you at the heart of how modern organisations work, helping you understand what drives successful companies in today’s fast-paced global economy. You’ll explore how businesses make decisions, manage people, market products, and navigate constant economic change.
This course is ideal if you want to build leadership, problem-solving, and entrepreneurial skills, giving you a solid foundation for higher education or a future career in the world of business.
Course Overview
Throughout this course, you’ll explore key areas of business, including marketing, finance, human resources, operations, and strategic management. You’ll understand how businesses operate in different contexts – from local small enterprises to global corporations – and how they adapt to technological, social, and economic changes.
You’ll study at Loxton Campus, benefiting from modern facilities such as business classrooms and boardrooms equipped with up-to-date technology. These spaces allow you to engage in interactive learning, simulations, and case studies that reflect real-world business scenarios.
As part of our Career Excellence Hub, you’ll access exclusive opportunities, including work experience in both Year 1 and Year 2, employer-led projects, and support in securing placements or college-based experiences that match your career goals.
You’ll be taught by experienced lecturers who bring real-world business expertise into the classroom. They’ll encourage active discussion, collaborative problem-solving, and critical thinking. Tutor Learning Mentors will guide you to develop effective study skills and support applications to university or employment after college.
During Year 1, you will complete an AS qualification, giving you a strong foundation for your second year and full A Level.
