Alfred

Alfred joined us after having quite a challenging time at school. He joined the college with the intention of gaining an apprenticeship in the Construction industry, but this did not come easy!  

Alfred’s tutors were impressed by how well he was able to reflect on his behaviour and how he demonstrated the behaviours, skills, and attitude to be successful. He has a real thirst for knowledge and deserves this recognition for overcoming his difficulties and showing outstanding resilience. We are proud to have Alfred as the face of Construction for Weston College.   

Through Alfred’s hard work and determination, he has achieved a position with a local construction employer.  

Alfred also won Construction Trades and Services Student of the Year at Celebration of Success 2023.
