300 apprentices in just 50 days

At Weston College, we love a challenge, but what we love even more is creating opportunities for local people to access their brighter future.

This year we have decided to set the bar even higher, and we are aiming to buck the national trend, by enrolling 300 people onto an apprenticeship in just 50 days!

Whether this be people starting their journey into an exciting new industry, or current professional upskilling to further their career – we are on a mission to support local people and we need your help.

Weston College is an award-winning apprenticeship provider, being named Bristol and Bath Apprenticeship Provider of the Year four times. We offer apprenticeships across the south west, from Bridgwater to Bristol and beyond, in multiple industries.

Throughout the 300 in 50 campaign we will be showcasing the businesses that pledge via our social media channels, website and in our promotional videos with the potential of reaching thousands of people. There will be further promotional opportunities to your organisation through press releases and case studies.

Our workplace champions the right of staff to embrace all Afro-hairstyles. We acknowledge that Afro-textured hair is an important part of our Black employees’ racial, ethnic, cultural, and religious identities, and requires specific styling for hair health and maintenance. We celebrate Afro-textured hair worn in all styles including, but not limited to, afros, locs, twists, braids, cornrows, fades, hair straightened through the application of heat or chemicals, weaves, wigs, headscarves, and wraps.
