We recognise that employers are looking ahead and considering how they develop what is their greatest asset so the business can thrive, their people.

Weston College has a number options available to support you and your employees with reskilling and upskilling. We offer a wide range of digital online courses in subjects such as Business Improvement Techniques, Team Leading, Customer Service, Digital Skills through to Safeguarding, Prevent and Infection Prevention and Control +Covid-19.

These digital courses can be the perfect step into further training and development which range from Level 2 through to Level 5+ and they are available in the form of apprenticeships, traineeships through to A-levels and degrees. Our training provides progression routes and pathways in a wide range of subjects and careers.

Staff wellbeing and support is an integral part of our offer for those looking to train and develop skills. From Mental Health First Aid training through to wellbeing, understanding mental healthlearning difficulties and behaviour that challenges, we can support employers to support their employees. In addition, any learner enrolled at the college has access to support services such as Bigwhitewall, BAM, welfare and other services, listed in the Director of Support Services. Our workplace champions the right of staff to embrace all Afro-hairstyles. We acknowledge that Afro-textured hair is an important part of our Black employees’ racial, ethnic, cultural, and religious identities, and requires specific styling for hair health and maintenance.
