T Levels have been designed with leading businesses and employers to give you the knowledge and skills you need. More than 200 businesses have been involved so you can be confident your T Level will move you to the next level. It is equivalent to 3 A Levels, when you pass your T Level, you will get a nationally recognised certificate showing the overall grade you achieved - pass, merit, distinction or distinction*. It will also give details of what you learned on the course to help you move into skilled employment or a higher apprenticeship.
Yes, your T Level will be worth UCAS points – a T Level Distinction* is worth the same as 3 A Levels at A* – and will be recognised by universities and other education providers so you can choose to continue studying if you wish.
Business Extended Diploma BTEC is suitable for learners who prefer to be assessed via coursework and for those who are not yet sure what career they would like to progress to as the qualification covers a wide range of business topics. Business Management and Administration T Level is the new ‘Gold Standard’ in technical qualifications which have been designed to ensure that learners are employable and empower them to progress into management positions in the future. You can also progress to University or Higher.
The Accounting T Level is different to the BTEC and A Levels as you will complete a substantial Industry Placement in an accounting department, where you will not only gain the knowledge and skills required to progress into the industry, but you will also have relevant work experience. The T Level is assessed via two examinations and two projects.
