The Ginger Pig Kitchen
The Ginger Pig Kitchen are a contemporary bistro-style restaurant situated in Weston-Super-Mare. They endorse the Hospitality and Catering Career Excellence Hub at Weston College, solidifying their commitment to fostering industry talent. Their involvement includes delivering guest lectures and providing valuable insights to shape the curriculum.
The passionate team at Ginger Pig Kitchen thrives on cultivating creativity and collaboratively setting new goals. By incorporating young learners into their operations, both the front-of-house and kitchen teams benefit from fresh perspectives, leading to the development of innovative services and targets. Ginger Pig Kitchen also actively participates in the apprenticeship and traineeship programmes offered by the college, further investing in the growth of aspiring professionals. Beyond all they do with the College they extend their reach to local schools, inspiring and nurturing the next generation of talented caterers and restaurateurs.
Inspired Worx
Inspired Worx is a highly regarded specialist construction company operating in both the commercial and domestic sectors. With a strong commitment to fostering talent and promoting inclusivity, they have established a long-standing partnership with Weston College spanning over a decade. This collaboration has enabled them to provide apprenticeships and cultivate an environment conducive to comprehensive training and learning.
Notably, Inspired Worx has successfully onboarded and supported no fewer than six apprentices in recent years, many of whom have transitioned into full-time roles and are now actively involved in training new apprentices themselves. Prioritising personal growth, they offer a secure and stimulating workplace environment alongside some of the industry's finest tradespeople.
By embracing apprenticeships, Inspired Worx has experienced organic growth while consistently delivering exceptional service to both their valued customers and dedicated staff.
TaxAssist Accountants
Tax Assist Accountants provide a personal and professional accounting service. They help start-ups, sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, property landlords, contractors, freelancers and individual taxpayers.
Tax Assist Accountants Weston Super Mare actively collaborates with Weston College through a diverse range of initiatives, including the provision of apprenticeships, consultation services, participation in careers fairs for current students, and the facilitation of work experience opportunities. The invaluable contributions made by Weston College learners have played a pivotal role in the efficient operation and accomplishments of Tax Assist Accountants. Whether engaged as work experience participants or an apprentice, these individuals have consistently demonstrated exceptional dedication and ability. Presently, Tax Assist Accountants proudly employs a team of seven individuals, each of whom is either a current or former learner at Weston College.
