Our Awards Ceremonies
As well as faculty awards, each year we host two big and exciting cross-College awards ceremonies for our students.
These events are the Celebration of Success, for our full time students, and the Business Awards, for our apprentices.
Both of these awards ceremonies feature a three-course dinner cooked by the professional catering team at the Winter Gardens Pavilion, plus a guest speaker and lots of prizes.
The coveted Student of the Year category includes a cash prize which is often hundreds of pounds.
The Celebration of Success recognises the remarkable successes of the College's full time students, as well as a number of students from local schools.
Tutors and College staff nominate students for these awards, and look to recognise people who have gone above and beyond in their dedication to their studies.
You don't have to be the highest achievers to be nominated - the Celebration of Success often sees students awarded for their efforts to improve or excellence in a particular area of their course.
This event includes a three-course meal, entertainment, and plenty of prizes. The evening finishes with the Principals' Awards, during which a winner will be picked personally by the Principal to receive the coveted 'Student of the Year' title.
The Business Awards celebrates the successes of our apprentices and their employers.
Businesses can nominate their apprentices, and apprentices are invited to nominate their employers.
