Year 10 & 11 pupils - join us at The Ginger Pig Kitchen for an insight into the hospitality and catering industry.
On 11th or 18th May (4 or 5:30pm), you can join Dave and James, owners of The Ginger Pig, who bring years of experience to this business. Their passion for food and quality service ensures customers have a fantastic time whether dining for lunch, dinner, tapas or just drinks. The restaurant is beautifully presented, it shines, every item within the restaurant has been carefully thought through.
The evening will include a talk from these two talented chefs plus you will get to watch their signature dish being created, ask questions and gain some industry guidance from them as a local employer. These employers can share not only their culinary skills but also their business and management expertise.
If you are considering a hospitality or catering course this is not to be missed. College lecturing staff and current learners will also be on hand to answer any questions you may have.
Please note the following COVID measures:
- On arrival please provide proof of a negative lateral flow test (via confirmation text or email).
- Masks should be worn throughout the visit (unless you are exempt).
- Social distancing to be adhered to throughout the visit.
- Regular hand sanitisation will be promoted throughout the visit.
- If a parent/guardian would like to stay with you, they will also need to book a ticket.
