What Next - Careers Showcase

Discover different careers, hear from local employers and learn how to reach your goals in a week-long onsite and virtual showcase to help you decide 'what's next' after finishing school.
As well as a series of informative qualification Facebook Lives, the main showcase of this careers-focused week will be a physical event on Tuesday 5th October. Here students and parents from Year 11 can learn about different job roles, careers and sectors, and which education route can get you there from local and national employers in a careers fair style event hosted in The Winter Gardens on Weston-super-Mare's seafront.
In this careers fair style event, you'll be able to learn more about different careers and job sectors from our staff as well as a host of different local employers. Each employer will be bringing a range of activities and resources to inspire young people and teach them about what it's like to work in their industry. An amazing chance for students in Year 11 to discover new opportunities and get some ideas that may well shape their career path.
