Important information for November GCSE Exams

Here is some useful information for those sitting GCSE exams this November:

 

English

  • Paper 1 - Monday 1st November, 9am
  • Paper 2 - Wednesday 3rd November, 9am

Maths

  • Paper 1 (NC) - Tuesday 2nd November, 9am
  • Paper 2 (C) -   Thursday 4th November, 9am
  • Paper 3 (C) -   Monday 8th November, 9am

Frequently Asked Questions:

 

You need to arrive at 8.30am, all exams start at 9am. šIf you are running late on the day of the exam, please inform reception 01934 411411.

Your exam room will be found on the letter provided to you by the Exams Office. Room changes will not be facilitated on the day. If you have any questions regarding exams access arrangements, or would like to be shown where your exam room is located, you need to contact the Examinations Office before 5pm on Wednesday, 27 October on 01934  411411 extension 1377.

· Your exam letter and ID (student ID card, passport or driving licence).

· Your own equipment: pens, highlighters, pencil, rubber, ruler, protractor, compass and calculator (if allowed).

· A face covering is recommended to be worn until you are in your exam room but this is not mandatory.

· Water in a clear bottle with the label already removed.

šAll afternoon classes will run as normal. You are expected to attend.

šIf you change your mind about sitting the exam, tell your English and/or maths tutor straight away.

The English and Maths Team will be on hand to support you before each exam. Look out for the team in their yellow t-shirts!

If you are not sitting an exam, your English and/or maths tutor will set work for you to do on Century. Upon completion, you will be given a digital attendance mark.
