Lauren

During her time at the College, Lauren has been a part of the Female Rugby Academy as well as representing her county and Bristol Bears outside of college. She has been an outstanding role model to the other girls within the programme, from encouraging others to join to helping them overcome the nerves of playing a sport for the first time. Lauren has been an outstanding ambassador for Rugby and without her enthusiasm the female rugby programmed may not have survived.   

After completing her course at the college Lauren signed her first contract with Bristol Bears and has been training with them full time since. It is an incredible achievement to have done this at such a young age and be the first player through the Sports Academy pathway to represent the Bristol Bears whilst still a student at college. 

Lauren also won Sports Academy Student of the Year at Celebration of Success 2023.
