Whether aspiring to work in mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering, the Engineering T Level offers a dynamic and immersive learning experience, paving the way for a promising and fulfilling engineering career.

T Levels are designed to provide a technical alternative to A Levels and are developed in collaboration with employers, ensuring that courses meet industry demands and equip students with the precise skills valued by employers in specific sectors. These two-year courses are equivalent to three A Levels, illustrating the depth of learning involved. One of the distinguishing features of T Levels is the minimum 45-day industry placement, allowing students to gain practical experience and develop essential employability skills. With their unique blend of classroom learning and on-the-job experience, T Levels offer students a clear pathway to rewarding careers in their chosen fields. We pride ourselves on our strong partnerships with key local organisations. You'll become part of our Engineering Career Excellence Hub and enjoy a host of career-boosting benefits and valuable access to potential employers. Benefit from work experience opportunities, engaging trips and tours, guest lectures from industry experts and courses designed in collaboration with employers to meet industry demands. You'll gain invaluable industry insight and create numerous networking opportunities. By the time you complete your training, you'll be fully prepared for your future career, armed with the skills and knowledge that employers value.

WHAT DOES THIS COURSE INVOLVE

You will develop an understanding of a broad range of issues relevant to the sector, including:

  • Working within the Engineering and Manufacturing Sectors – an understanding of how materials, conditions and context influence design processes and products.
