Engineering and Manufacturing, Technical Progression Programme
This Transition to T Level engineering programme is the ideal choice if you are new to the subject or and want to progress onto the T Level programme. Giving a general introduction to the industry, it will teach the fundamental abilities and knowledge you will need to enter the engineering industry.
You will also learn about the career opportunities available in the industry, and how to best present your skills and experience to progress to further studies or a career in engineering and manufacturing.
What does the course involve?
You will have the choice and flexibility to learn about a variety of engineering activities, including health and safety requirements and communicating engineering information.
This qualification also explores technical support, project planning and understanding of business improvement techniques.
As part of this study programme, you will develop your maths and English skills, attend tutorials and Individual Development (ID). You will also complete a work placement. All aspects of your study programme will be discussed at your interview.
How will the course be assessed?
You will be assessed through observations of practical work, group work, presentations and coursework.
What future study opportunities and careers are there?
Most students progress onto the T Level in Engineering and Manufacturing.

Entry Requirements
A minimum of five GCSEs at grade 9-2 with at least two at grade 4 with one of those in Maths, or a qualifying Level 1 qualification.
