Business Admin Apprentice at Weston College
Daily duties:
- Undertake general clerical and administration duties and maintain processes under supervision, including ordering stationary, managing diaries, collating agenda items and producing minutes of meetings
- Coordinate internal and external events and be part of a project team at welcome events
- Use various internal databases and systems to input data onto spreadsheets or databases, updating internal and external platforms for marketing of Traineeships and Apprenticeships
- Manage the recruitment activity process for Apprenticeships, which includes collating candidate information and collection of signatures for Training Plans
- Review and update when directed social media accounts on behalf of Weston College to generate and engage, plus updating information on a provider platform
- Support staff with the End Point Assessment process
- Notify employers of apprenticeship non-attendance and liaise with faculties on any queries that arise from this
- Liaise with personnel in other departments to obtain and provide information
- Complete email and telephone survey’s and collate and present data

- Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship Standard
- Attendance of 1 workshop a month for the first 6 months
- Assessor visits the workplace once the workshops have finished to prepare you for your End Point Assessment
- If you have not already achieved a C/4 + in both maths and English (or equivalent) and cannot provide evidence in the form of a certificate, you will also need to achieve Functional Skills at Level 2, in both Numeracy and Literacy. This will include sitting an exam
- You will be given some of your working week dedicated to your apprentice studies, or Off the Job Training, to carry out self-supported study, compiling your portfolio or completing work set by your assessor
- End point assessment to achieve your final apprenticeship grade
