Animal Management and Behaviour, T Level

The Animal Care and Management T Level is a vocational qualification created to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary for a career within the animal sector. The course involves a significant amount of theory and science. Our experienced tutors are dedicated to teaching you the necessary theory to complement your practical knowledge. Our qualifications have been developed in collaboration with local and national employers and are successful in getting our students into animal management-related jobs and onto relevant degrees.

T Levels are designed to provide a technical alternative to A Levels and are developed in collaboration with employers, ensuring that courses meet industry demands and equip students with the precise skills valued by employers in specific sectors. These two-year courses are equivalent to three A Levels, illustrating the depth of learning involved. One of the distinguishing features of T Levels is the minimum 45-day industry placement, allowing students to gain practical experience and develop essential employability skills. With their unique blend of classroom learning and on-the-job experience, T Levels offer students a clear pathway to rewarding careers in their chosen fields.

Through our unique partnership with Puxton Park, the National Farm Attraction of the Year, you will have the opportunity to acquire practical skills by participating in the care of a diverse range of animals. This invaluable first-hand experience will involve working alongside experienced staff and engaging with visitors at the park, allowing you to develop essential employability skills.

When you study with us you will automatically join our Animal Management Career Excellence Hub, which is endorsed by leading employers who are actively involved throughout your whole training programme. Through guest lectures, company visits, work experience and recruitment events, you will have unrivalled access to potential employers – that means invaluable industry insight and numerous networking opportunities.
