CSCS Virtual

Gain the skills and qualifications needed to work as a labourer on a construction site!

This course is for adults looking to start their journey into construction, by becoming a labourer. You don’t need any existing qualifications in construction to complete the course.

On this course, you will have the opportunity to gain a CSCS Green Card (for labourers), which will increase your chances of gaining employment within the construction industry – with many construction companies only looking to hire people with a CSCS card.

What will I study?

On this course we will cover a wide range of areas, and you will gain the following certificates:

  • Level 1 Certificate in Construction and Building Industries

  • Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment

You will participate in activities to develop skills in communication, teamwork and problem solving to ensure effective and safe working practices, as well a building rapport with those you work with.

Progression Opportunities

Once you have completed the course, you can either progress into a temporary or permanent role as a labourer, or you can progress into further training in trades such as brickwork and scaffolding.

We offer careers advice, guidance and support to everyone that studies on one of our courses.
