"If you work hard then the opportunities are endless. Ever since I was at school, I've known I've always wanted to be a carpenter, so I was thrilled when I finally got the opportunity to study to be one. 

The tools and resources that we have in the workshop are superb and are all applicable to the industry so I'm at my happiest when I'm getting my hands dirty."

What next: I secure a work placement whilst on the course with the support of my tutors and have now secured a job as an apprentice with a carpenter.
