Kacper’s inspiring journey at Weston College has been marked by dedication, resilience, and a commitment to both academic achievement and community service. His exceptional performance, both inside and outside the classroom, has rightly earned him the title of Public Services Student of the Year. 

Kacper achieved outstanding results on completion of the Level 2 and Level 3 programmes. However, his impact extends far beyond academic excellence. Kacper actively contributes to his local community through involvement in youth boxing training, showcasing a commitment to personal development and community engagement that sets him apart. 

Reflecting on his college experience, Kacper speaks highly of the support he received from the staff at Weston College. He credits their encouragement and assistance with enabling him to balance his academic pursuits with his athletic career. 

Throughout his college journey, Kacper seized the opportunities on offer, including trips and networking events. These experiences broadened his understanding of the public services sector and reinforced his career aspirations. His engagement with industry placements and work experiences shows his proactive approach to his future career. Discussing one of his placements, Kacper said, “Work experience with the Army was beneficial as it allowed me to enhance my knowledge and improve skills that would be required for my chosen career path, whilst also gaining an understanding of potential options I could have in life.”  

Looking to the future, Kacper is focused on progressing in his career with the Thames Valley Police while nurturing his passion for sports. His time at Weston College has equipped him with the skills and knowledge necessary to pursue his ambitions confidently. “I’ve felt prepared for my next step as I had a clear vision of the life I wanted to pursue. Through college, I was able to gain an understanding of the career I was planning to settle in.” 

To prospective students considering a similar path, Kacper urges them to seize the opportunity, especially if they share his passion for fitness and public service. As he continues to excel in his career and contribute to his community, Kacper remains a shining example of what can be accomplished through determination, passion, and hard work.
