I had followed esports for many years and wanted to get into the industry but didn’t know how. This course offered me the opportunity to turn something I love doing in my free time into a career I can hopefully travel the world with.

My lecturers have been excellent. They have shown me the opportunities available in esports and always supported me in choosing and taking my next steps at every stage throughout the course.

Through Weston College and the British Esports Student Champs, I have gained contacts all over the world. We have had numerous guest lectures which have given me great insight into the industry generally, and into specific areas like social media management, events production, and shoutcasting. I’ve been lucky enough to gain work experience at events – working alongside esports pros has helped me understand the requirements and expectations in the industry I hope to work in.
