Olivia

When completing school Olivia had a strong aspiration for hairdressing. Olivia attended school and then College in Reading completing her Level 2 in Hairdressing, and after much research looking into colleges and universities, Olivia made the big decision at 19 years of age to move on her own to Weston-super-Mare, 100 miles away from home to attend Weston College. 

Olivia was a model student from start to finish during her Level 3 course. Not only was she learning vital living skills now living on her own in a brand-new town, but she was excelling on her course. Olivia would go above and beyond, taking ownership of her learning. Olivia challenged herself by competing in both AHT competitions! She even went on to win gold at the national finals in Blackpool at the AHT Avent guard Hair Competition.    

Olivia went on to succeed her target grade, therefore gaining her a place at UCW on the Hair, Make Up and Prosthetics for Production Honours Degree. She also won Hair and Beauty Student of the Year at Celebration of Success 2023.
