Samuel

Samuel started the year having had several unsuccessful attempts to pass maths. He approached the new year with determination and always asked for additional work and always questioning what he didn’t understand. This and a consistent use of Century ensured Samuel was fully prepared for the GCSE exams. 

For a learner who repeatedly attempted to achieve a GCSE pass, Samuel achieved a grade 5 and has shown that despite repeated unsuccessful attempts in maths, resilience, perseverance, and a belief in his ability has shone through and Samuel is now reaping the rewards. He has shown to other learners that something that appears impossible to begin with is possible when you apply yourself to the learning.
